Punden berundak-undak (Stone Banta) at Padang Kandi Village

In the book Natural Minangkabau culture (BAM) Punden berundak are some stone blocks arranged berundak. Located in the Padang Kandi Kenagarian VII Koto Talago Kec.Guguak Kab.Limo Puluah Payakumbuh-town West Sumatra. Is the only one in the Minangkabau.

One piece of stone blocks measuring 40 x 40 cm. Sekitara six meters in length. At the bottom layer was composed of as many as eight beams.

In the second layer is also composed seven pieces of stone blocks, at the third layer composed of six pieces, the fourth layer composed of five pieces
and so on. Until a beam placed on top.

By the Society of desert kandi punden berundak or better known as STONE BANTA has several legends. As with any legend Menhir in Mehat, excl. Bukitbarisan kab.Lima twenty cities, West Sumatra.
